Reading
Please read for pleasure for at least 20 minutes.

English
A Place called Perfect
In English, we are reading the super book above, ‘A Place called Perfect.’
Can you draw your idea of ‘Perfect’ for you? It might be a mix of all the things that make you happy in your life, such as, your favourite foods, people, drinks, your hobbies OR it could be a drawing of one place that represents PERFECT for you. It would be great to see them 😊.
Advert Time!
In class, we are going to be creating a tea advert based on our reading of ‘A Place called Perfect.’ Can you create a persuasive poster advert about an item in your house? It could be about your trainers, a video game, an item of food or a drink that you adore. You could even create your own product! Remember it is about making people wanting to BUY your item, so you need to make it sound beyond amazing!
Use the strategies below to make people want to buy your item!
- Use exciting and positive adjectives to describe your product.
- Exaggerate your produce- make it sound like the BEST thing ever made!
- Use personal pronouns (you, your).
- Create or use a SLOGAN (Just Do It)
- Use alliteration (delicious double deckers)
It would be great to see these amazing adverts.
